Eastcroft Park uses all aspects of school life to promote British Values.  In year 6 we see 'British Values' as an essential part of our social and moral development, both as British and world citizens. Please click on the links below to see how year 6 promote the 5 values.

Democracy

We will use our pupil voice positively to participate in decisions that affect us both as individuals and our community as a whole.

Head Boy/Head Girl Elections

Year 6 monitors made the decision as to if they wanted to be considered for the position of head boy or girl.  The children that wanted to stand wrote their candidate speech, which they then gave in a KS2 assembly.  KS2 children then voted for the candidate that they thought would best serve them.  Votes were counted and the decision made. The head boy/girl and deputy head boy/girl were presented with their badges in a special assembly.

Well done to all the children that put themselves forward for election and a very special congratulations to our new team:
