Writing

In English we have been learning new grammar, punctuation and spelling skills and have been trying hard to apply them into our writing. Recently, we have been looking at dinosaurs in Non-fiction texts. We have looked at key features such as the contents page, glossary,  sub-headings and captions. We have also been learning about suffixes: ed, ing, er and est and the prefix un! We have been practising how to use these in our writing correctly.

We are excited to learn about our author for this term Oliver Jeffers and can't wait to read some of his brilliant books!
