Thank-you for your support,

Miss Sale & Miss Bowers

Numeracy

The children have been working hard on shapes and angles this half term. They have been focusing on right, acute and obtuse angles, lines of symmetry and 2D/3D shapes.

English

So far we have covered many topics in English such as Mystery and Adventure; Instructions; Reports; Calligrams and Stories with familiar settings. The children have all been working exceptionally hard and created some lovely work of a high standard, especially in their new Perfectly Polished Books.

Science

Our topic this term is Plants. The children have been working hard with their investigation on how plants grow, they discussed the main factors that plants need and then planted their own flowers/cress. We have then been keeping record of the height of our plants and any changes in colour.
