We visited the school library - what a lovely place to snuggle up, get comfy and read a book!

We used autumnal colours to make leaf handprints and spines for a giant hedgehog.

We loved meeting Willow the hedgehog during our Autumn topic!

Happy Halloween!!! We made ghost skittles, spooky soup, prickly pumpkins, scary spiders and creepy cookies! BOO!!

Power Of Reading

We have started to look at "Owl Babies" by Martin Waddell. We looked at pictures of Sarah, Percy and Bill and tried to imagine how they felt when they woke up in the dark and realised they were alone. Some of us said the dark was scary but some of us said it was exciting!

We compared Night and Day and wrote a fantastic poem together. Mrs Hudson was thrilled with our ideas!

We used an app called 'glowdraw' on the ipads to draw what we see at night.

We also drew what "Night" means to us and how it makes us feel using chalks on black paper. We created a beautiful display.
