Nursery

Welcome to the Eastcroft Park Nursery's page.

We have been very pleased with how the new children have settled into our Nursery and also with how our older children are becoming good role models for them.  This is no easy thing when sometimes this is the first time they have been away from their parents/carers so well done everyone!!!

All the children have enjoyed learning through play, exploring the areas and activities on offer.  This term we are learning through different topics 'All about me,' where the children have talked about families, our pets and looked at the senses.

We have also talked about 'Autumn,' which will carry onto next half term with an Autumn stroll in our school grounds.

Our Author for this term is Tony Ross and the children have enjoyed listening to his work.

Next half term we will be talking about bonfire night/firework safety and of course learning all about Christmas.
We are looking forward to starting the Early Talk Boost programme in November, where some children (others will do this in the Spring term) will take part in a 10 week programme which helps with all areas of communication: speaking, listening, turn taking and confidence building. If your child has been invited don't forget the meeting on the 19th October to find out more!!
