Universal free breakfast club

Our school has been successful in becoming a breakfast club early adopter school. The government is funding 750 schools to provide access to a free, universal breakfast club for children from reception age to Year 6. We will help test and learn what works to implement free breakfast clubs nationally. 

From the first day of Summer term 2025, we will be delivering a free universal breakfast club.  Our free breakfast club will commence 22^nd April 2025, the breakfast club will be open to all children. Nursery children can continue to attend breakfast club with voluntary charge of 50p per day. To foresee staffing, if your child does not usually attend breakfast club, you will be required to book a place for your child. If you would like your child to attend, you must book by 12.00 on the previous day and state how many days the place is required for.

However, as we are approaching the Easter half term holidays, if you wish for your child to attend on 22^nd April 2025 you must inform school by 31^st March 2025.

You can email the office on eastcroft@knowlsey.gov.uk or use the booking system on parent app, you will find the form within the section consent forms called ‘breakfast club; The system will be checked at school every afternoon for the following day.
