Artist Visit - Ali Pickard
In the Spring Term, Y5 were very lucky to receive a visit from the artist Ali Pickard.
Ali was one of the artists whose work was displayed at Kirkby Gallery as part of the "Crafted" exhibition. We focused on her work and used her ideas to inspire us.
When she came to visit, she brought along some examples of her art and shared the stories behind them. She then worked with us to create 3D story telling masks as replicas of her version which was on display.
