Personal Development at Eastcroft Park
Personal Development aims to ‘prepare pupils for their adult lives, teaching them to understand how to engage with society and providing them with opportunities to do so.’ (Ofsted Inspection Handbook).
At Eastcroft Park, we strive to ensure all pupils in our school are equipped with the skills, attitudes and understanding to become positive members of society. We work on developing each individual’s self-esteem, emotional intelligence and communication skills in order for them to grow to be reflective, accepting, confident and aspirational members of the community.
We are committed to providing a purposeful and empowering curriculum that fully prepares pupils for the wider world and adult life. We developed our 'S.P.E.A.K' curriculum to help with this.
