Curriculum Enhancements
Forest School:
We are lucky enough to have an outdoor environment which allows us to provide forest school opportunities to each class over the school year. Our forest school leader (Mr Bishop) has been trained by Nomad Rangers to provide forest school sessions in house using our outdoor classroom and woodlands area. Forest school sessions aim to promote and preserve the natural environment through sustainable outdoor experiences, whilst also contributing to positive wellbeing. Our pupils are taught survival skills such as safely lighting and putting out fires, cooking food and building shelters.

Military School:
The UK Military School delivers youth leadership and training sessions to classes over the school year. Each session is carefully thought out to develop individual skills through a range of challenging learning activities delivered in a fun but disciplined environment. Military school is motivating, inspiring and aspirational. Our pupils learn key life skills such as leadership, teamwork, turn taking and much more. Military school has inspired many of our pupils to want to have a career within the military when they grow up!
