Looking for a wonderful Winter treat for the family? Shelter from the cold in Huyton Library’s Culture Hub on Saturday 30th November with "Another Wintery Tale" an interactive storytelling experience for families, featuring puppetry, songs and adventure from around the world.
Through Petite Ullaloom’s distinctive storytelling style and combined with Altered Scale Theatre’s visual puppetry techniques, this will be an exciting piece of theatre exploring the deep winter to find the mysterious Storycastle! Help the two storytellers who are such in a snowstorm to find the perfect story and unlock the gates and live happily ever after?
The show will last for approximately 50 minutes with time for questions and exploration of the themes afterwards. Again tickets are £4 or £3 if you are a library member and available at Huyton Library to purchase or through Eventbrite.
This event is part of the GEM (Great Emerging Marvellous) Places project, which is Arts Council England funded, and is about bringing exciting and cultural activities to Knowsley Libraries.
Copies of the new school dinners menu can be found on the school dinners page.
From 01/0/2019 school meals will increase to £2.10 per meal. The increase has been set by the Local Authority. Also from September Eastcroft will be introducing parent pay which will enable payments to be made online: letters will be sent out in the last week of term.
Parent/Guardian of year 2: Just a reminder that children in reception and key stage 1 qualify to receive a free school meal as part of the government’s universal free school meals initiative. However, as the children move up to Year 3, unless the child is eligible for free School Meals the cost of a school meal will be £2.10 a day.
You can check if you are eligible by doing checking online at https://www.cloudforedu.org.uk/ofsm/sims or complete an application form which is available from the office.
