Last week we ran a competition to mark Safer Internet Day 2017. Pupils needed to come up with 3 e-resolutions to make their internet use safer. Well done to everyone who took part, the overall winner was Libby Moss of home 6 who won some fancy new headphones & a Google Cardboard! See the entries on our e-safety page.
The full OFSTED report letter from our inspection on the 1/12/17 can now be viewed online. Images can be seen below or visit our OFSTED reports page here for links to our page on the OFSTED website or to download a copy of the report letter.
Here is the January update of the e-safety newsletter. Of particular interest to some parents may be the sections related to Dubsmash and Musical.ly (Very popular social media lip-syncing app). Both of these apps can be considered as potentially very dangerous and accounts should be vetted for privacy settings immediately if they are being used. The pdf document can be downloaded on our e-safety page here.
Here is some guidance from the NSPCC on popular apps, games or websites with young people. A clearer easier-to-read version can be found here on our e-safety page.
