Mental Health & Wellbeing

What is Wellbeing and Mental Health?

The World Health Organisation define wellbeing and mental health as "a state in which every individual realises their potential, and can cope with the normal stresses of life. They can work productively and make positive contributions to their community."

At Eastcroft Park, we recognise that our mental health is just as important as our physical health and we cannot reach our true potential unless we feel comfortable, happy and safe.

As a school, we are committed to changing the culture of our school to ensure that all members of our school community (pupils, staff and parents) are in a positive mental state and achieve wellbeing. We have worked really hard this year to make sure that mental health and wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do.heart
