      Science At Home       

Each week during the COVID-19 Lockdown, the Young People’s Trust for the Environment (YPTE) are sharing home learning packs that children can do with you or independently. These packs include lots of activities relating to Science but also activities which link to other areas of the curriculum too (Art, Maths, English etc). 
The Primary Science Teaching Trust is working with 'Science Sparks' to create activities for children to have some fun with science at home. A new Science Fun at Home activity will be available every Wednesday on their website and social media accounts. As well as Science Fun at Home activities, their website also includes links to other exciting Science activities. Engineering Our World includes challenges and fact sheets which introduce famous scientists, engineers and artists. Challenge Chasers includes activities presented as challenges to be solved for older primary children (ages 7-11 years). Click the link below to access and explore these fantastic resources!

STEM Learning offers wide-ranging primary science resource packages for all age groups and has added extra resources for supporting home learning. 
The British Science Association provides a series of three age-group specific general science packs featuring ideas and activities based on the theme "Our Diverse Planet".
